Leo Seaburg

What superpower would you love to have? “My superpower would be super strength!,” Leo says.

Leo will do a transition "School to Work" program through LBHS, designed to support students who are 18-22 years of age to gain life skills & real work experience. Leo will also remain active in the Special Olympics program.

Leo says, “My advice to younger students would be to be a hard worker.”

Congratulations, Leo! We are excited for the next step in your journey!

Aidan Sands

After graduation, Aidan will be taking a gap year to prioritize athletics. Aidan writes, “I hope to see improvements during that time that will allow me to compete at a high level in college athletics the following year.”

In 7 years, “I imagine myself finally being done with school, preferably with a degree and a job that I enjoy. I would also like to have a dog, although I’m not sure what breed, and I hope to have traveled around the world and explored new cultures.”

Advice to younger students: “Appreciate the happy moments, as it’s easy to get caught up in the bad ones.”

Congratulations, Aidan! We wish you all the best!

Tayah Paz Class of 2026

Tayah says, “A super power that I would like would have to be the ability to be in many places at once. I feel like there is not enough time in a day to be able to get everything done so if I could have many clones of me that would be awesome.”

Tayah’s big picture plan for after graduation is to attend Grand Canyon University. She plans to get her bachelor's in broadcasting with a minor in journalism for sports along with still taking her own photography.

In 7 years, Tayah imagines she will “have my master’s completed and already traveled Europe for two years. I will be on TV for everyone in the US to see interviewing NFL players. I will have a family of my own. I'll of course be back to the Methow visiting and reminiscing on my roots. I'll have some property with a whole herd of cattle, maybe somewhere in Colorado or maybe in Washington, who knows.”

“One piece of advice I'd give to younger students is believe in yourself even when everyone doubts you. Everyone will let you down at some point and that's how life goes. You only have you and at the end of the day whatever is best for you will help in the long run. Do good in school. Don't procrastinate. Remember math is hard but do your best anyway and ask the right questions to be successful.”

We’re so proud of you, Tayah! Congratulations!

Layla Mortland Class of 2026

“In 40 years the class of 2026 will be nostalgic for daily gas station/bakery trips, the classic class walk, and Aspholm spending the first 30 minutes of class talking about last night's game,” Layla writes.

After graduation Layla will be attending the Cosmetology program at Paul Mitchell The School - Spokane. And in 7 years, “I will be laying on a beach in Cabo soaking in the sun with an iced cold drink in my hands,” she says.

Congratulations, Layla! We’re wishing you all the best!

Evan Doran Class of 2026

Evan Doran

“I would love the superpower to create any object because I could create all the tools I would need to go into the automotive industry instead of having to buy them all or I could just create the tool when I need it,” Evan says.

Evan plans to go to Spokane Community College for an associate’s degree in automotive technology and during the second year of his degree he will work an entry level position for Porsche to hopefully get sponsored into their 23 week PTAP training and become a bronze technician. “I imagine I will be working in the Spokane Porsche dealership as a gold technician in 7 years,” Evan writes.

“The piece of advice I would give to younger students would be to print out a packet of all the scholarships you're going to apply to and fill them all out together - they have very similar questions.”

Congratulations, Evan! We’re so excited for you to pursue your dreams!

Ben’s advice for younger students: “It goes by really fast!”

Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors, Ben! Congratulations!

Helaina Remsberg Class of 2026

Helaina says, “If I were to be a season I would be spring. I love the rain and freshly bloomed flowers. The thought of spring is always happy and joyful.”

After high school Helaina plans to attend the University of Washington, and her course of study is Pre-Health Sciences towards the goal of becoming a physical therapist. In 7 years, Helaina imagines she will be freshly graduated from PT school.

Helaina writes, “One piece of advice I would offer younger students is to enjoy life and everything you love to do because you never know when it will get taken away from you.”

We’re so proud of you, Helaina! Congratulations!

Andy Garcia Lopez Class of 2025

Andy writes, “if I had a superpower, I'd pick time traveling, because then I could be a gnarly historian.”

After graduating, Andy will be attending Western Washington University. And in 7 years? “I picture myself being fat and happy, while hopefully making big dollars.”

Andy’s advice to younger students: “The biggest mistake one can do is to give up; results are important, but the way they are achieved, the process, is equally important... so stay disciplined.”

Congratulations, Andy! We wish you all the best!
